Seamus McNally has been a professional acting coach and teacher for nearly twenty years. In addition to holding ongoing classes out of his studio on Union Square, he coaches actors privately, and consults directors for a wide array of film and television productions. Recent projects include Orange is the New Black, Roots, Vinyl (M. Scorsese), The Night Of, Too Old To Die Young (N. W. Refn), Black Mirror.
As a filmmaker, Seamus has directed numerous narrative short films including: To Paint the Portrait of a Bird, The Hypnotist, Sketches of Honey, Good Old Days, Exchange Place, and an excerpt from Mike Leigh's Ecstasy to name a few. His films have premiered at Cannes, Montreal, Woodstock, Mill Valley, and won Best Short Film at the final NY/Avignon Film Festival. Throughout the past several years he has been developing a diverse portfolio of projects for feature film and television.
